Applying for Financial Aid

Financial aid is critical to Poly Prep’s mission, providing access to families who would not otherwise be able to attend.

Financial Aid Makes a Poly Prep Education Possible

Our financial aid program is designed to make a Poly Prep education possible for all families based on demonstrated financial need and the availability of funds. For the 2023-2024 academic year, over 21% of the students share in more than $12,600,000 in financial aid.

We use the Clarity Application to determine a family’s level of financial need based on the information that families share in the application which includes assets, income, expenses, and debts.

Qualifying for Financial Aid

In a typical year, we are able to offer tuition support to a percentage of families who qualify for aid, though we receive significantly more requests than we are able to fulfill.  Our financial aid awards are only based on need; we do not offer merit scholarships based on academic or athletic achievement. Families applying to ALL grades may submit a separate application for financial aid through Clarity Application. 

Applying for Financial Aid is Easy

• To get started, please go to the Clarity Application and create an account.
• The application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete. Clarity has provided a step-by-step guide to assist families with the application.
• The Clarity Application is mobile-friendly so you can complete it from anywhere.
• You are able to save your progress and return at any time.
• At the end of the application, there is a $60 fee to submit. You may share your application with additional schools that accept the Clarity Application for no additional charge. Simply use the dropdown menu in the application to select those schools.

Please remember to return to your dashboard after you complete and submit your Clarity Application, as Poly Prep may require you to upload additional tax documentation.

If you need support during the process of completing your application, there is in-app support available as well as email support at [email protected] in both English and Spanish. The application itself is also fully translated into Spanish.

Financial Aid Application and Deadlines

Financial Aid Application materials for the 2025-2026 academic year will be available on September 3, 2024 in CLARITY.

• APPLICANT FAMILIES: Applicants must provide all supporting documents directly to CLARITY by December 15, 2024. Financial aid applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
• CURRENT POLY FAMILIES: For families currently receiving financial aid, the financial aid application is due each year by November 1.
• Both custodial and non-custodial parents must complete the required online application.
